PROFILE
Langdon Thaxter practices with the firm’s corporate and commercial law group.
Before joining Norman, Hanson, & DeTroy, Langdon served as a law clerk to the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. He graduated from the University of Maine School of Law where he assisted low-income Mainers, juveniles, and asylum seekers, with the Cumberland Legal Aid and the Refugee and Human Rights Clinics. He also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Kermit V. Lipez on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Prior to law school, Langdon graduated from Bard College in New York, where he studied philosophy. He currently lives in Portland, his hometown, with his dog Hector.
