PROFILE
Jaimee McCormack practices with the firm’s corporate and commercial law group, focusing primarily on commercial real estate transactions. She is a licensed title insurance agent with many years of experience performing title due diligence and facilitating both residential and commercial real estate transactions. Jaimee is also knowledgeable about corporate matters and regularly assists clients with the formation and maintenance of limited liability companies and corporations.
Before joining Norman, Hanson & DeTroy, Jaimee represented lenders and loan servicers in mortgage default related litigation, including both residential and commercial foreclosure actions. While attending the University of Maine School of Law, she worked for a title company where she conducted title searches, prepared title insurance policies, and performed real estate closings. She also assisted low-income individuals with a variety of legal issues as a Student Attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic.
Prior to law school, Jaimee graduated from Bucknell University, where she studied political science and sociology. She then returned to Maine and worked as a paralegal for several years, gaining valuable experience in real estate, civil, family, criminal, and workers’ compensation matters. Jaimee lives in Cape Elizabeth with her husband Alex.
