PROFILE
Doris Rygalski has a diverse estate-planning practice that ranges from the preparation of simple wills to handling complex probate matters. She works closely with clients to help them define their estate-planning goals and counsels them about the competing interests of tax, asset-protection, and elder-law planning. Doris’s practice includes probating large and small estates, and, where necessary, handling contested probate matters that require litigation.
In addition to her estate-planning practice, Doris is well-versed in the Medicare Secondary Payer Laws and helps firm clients stay in compliance with the set-aside, reporting, and reimbursement requirements put forth by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
Prior to graduating from the University of Maine School of Law, Doris worked as a reports officer/analyst in the counterintelligence division of the Central Intelligence Agency.
